Q. What kind of handles do OMO Bikes have? Do you have threaded or threadless handles?

A. All OMO Bikes use threaded handle assembly. No, our bicycles do not have threadless handle assembly. 

Q. What is the difference between threaded handles & threadless handles? 

A. There are no difference in performance in threaded vs threadless handle assembly. Threadless handles do tend to offer a better look. However, all threadless handle assembly components are made in China. We intend to start models with threadless handles as soon as these are started to manufacture in India.

Q. What are the specs of handles used in OMO Bikes? 

A. The handle dia is 22mm and length is 600mm. The handle & stem are made of steel. We do not use alloy stem or handle. The internal dia of stem is 25.4mm.

Common Issues

If the handle is not tightened properly, if might start getting loose every time rider takes a turn while riding. This can be very dangerous and can lead to unwanted incidents. Hence, if you feel that your handle is not getting tight properly, take professional help.

Q. Can I replace the regular factory fitted handle with a bull horn style handle?

A. Yes, the factory fitted handle can be replaced with bull horn style handle to increase aerodynamics (riding speed) and lowered comfort of riding posture. 

Is the Handle Adjustable?

The handle assembly is a quill type, threaded assembly.   Rider can increase the handle height as per their requirement upto 3 inches (from the default position).
